Hello Alasdair,
I was wondering if you managed to find any information on the K-DES solution.
Thanks,
Joyin reply to: import of fresh frozen material #1176Hello Dave,
So the institution is called Bioethical Anatomics, it is located in Houston, Texas.
The contact person is; Dr. Naim El Aswad, who is the chief medical officer. His email is: nelaswad@victory-healthcare.com.
They did manage to provide us with good quality of embalmed cadavers, in relatively good price and time when I was back in Lebanon.

Joyin reply to: import of fresh frozen material #1174Hi Dave,
I have emailed the people I know to make sure they do body parts, as we used to do full bodies. They are good, so I ‘ll get back to you when I hear from them.

Do you have a source in the US that could provide you with enough specimen ? If not I can recommend a couple.

Joyin reply to: Glenelyn versus Thiel soft embalming #1110Hello Catherine,
Well i completed my post grad degree in Dundee and performed full body dissection on Thiel. I would say Thiel is the best to preserve a body in it’s natural condition. The only problem would be the soft condition of the internal organs where research is still being done to overcome this problem.
Hope this helps,
Joyin reply to: Formaldyhyde/Phenol meters #1017Thank you for mentioning this.
We are in the process of purchasing a device to monitor formaldehyde levels in our lab.
I will be going through the pdf you posted, and please feel free to give your advice and feedback.
Thanks
