Diploma in Anatomical Technology and Science

The Diploma in Anatomical Technology and Science has been designed for members who wish to study for a qualification that is relevant to their profession. It is aimed at both established staff and those entering the field.

To complete the Diploma, candidates must complete 8 of the 16 available modules. These incorporate both theoretical and practical aspects of each subject. Each module will be marked by two IAS approved examiners.

Viva voce

Two viva voce examinations will be conducted by IAS approved examiners in the candidates’ workplace; one upon completion of the first four modules and the second upon completion of the final four modules. The assessments will be conducted in a friendly manner and will cover content discussed in the previous four modules submitted.  Feedback of the applicants’ performance will be given on the day of the examination.  Applicants based outside the UK may be able to have their viva voce carried out online via Skype, FaceTime or similar.  Please contact the education team for more information. education@anatomical-sciences.org.uk
 
 

Fees

The total cost of the certificate is £350, this covers any administrative and examiner travel expenses.

–       The initial £50 must be paid on submission of the application for the Diploma.

–       The next £150 is payable upon completion of the first 4 modules and once the date for the first viva voce has been set.

–       The final £150 is payable upon completion of the second 4 modules and once the date for the second viva voce has been set.
