Dissection Workshop

 

The Anatomy Department at Kings College London is to host a one day IAS Anatomy Workshop on Wednesday the 4th January 2012.

This is your chance to attend a high quality workshop which will cover dissection / prosection which will be taken by Dr. Alistair Hunter (Senior Lecturer and Academic Manager) and Kirsty Thompson (Dissection Room Manager)

There will also be a workshop in Histology which will be conducted by Stephen Franey.

This workshop is suitable for all levels of experiences and is a wonderful opportunity to learn new skills or to improve the skills you have. If you are interested in either workshop please contact Kirsty at dissectingroom@kcl.ac.uk (Priority will be given to IAS members)


The cost is only £30 for the day and this will include lunch and refreshments.


As no accommodation is available those who intend to stop over night will need to make their own arrangement, but Kirsty and the team can suggest a few places nearby.

 

WORKSHOP HOSTS NEEDED!
If you are interested in hosting a workshop please contact a member of the IAS Council – we need all types of workshops to help facilitate members who wish to learn new skills and techniques.  Alternatively, if you would like to host a workshop but are not in a position to hold one in your workplace, please do get in touch anyways as we may be able to link up hosts with facilities.

We are relying on members to pass on techniques to other members – everyone has something to offer so do get in contact – look at how much fun you could be having!
