Diploma in Anatomical Technology and Science

The Diploma in Anatomical Technology and Science has been designed for members who wish to study for a qualification that is relevant to their profession. It is aimed at both established staff and those entering the field. 

Diploma

To complete the Diploma, candidates must complete 8 of the 15 available modules.  These are integrated to incorporate both theoretical and practical aspects of each subject. 

Viva

Two viva examinations will be conducted in the candidates workplace, one upon completion of the first four modules and the second upon completion of the final four modules.

Advanced Diploma

Candidates wishing to complete an Advanced Diploma in Anatomical Technology and Science, must choose four additional modules from the remaining seven modules not chosen for the Diploma and complete the following for each of the 4 modules:

A 3000 word article for the IAS Journal

or

A 30 minute presentation on the subject to be presented at an IAS meeting

and

A Viva Voce examination to be carried out upon completion of the final module

Fees

-       Registration fee of £50 must be paid on application for the Diploma.

-       Viva Examination fees of £150 per viva – this will cover the travel costs and expenses of the examiners – this will total £350 for the complete Diploma.

-       The Viva associated with the Advanced Diploma will be conducted free of charge
